About

In celebration of National Book Month this October, The Junior League of Spokane has partnered with Greenstone Homes to promote childhood literacy and inspire imagination through a free and self-guided storybook trail located in Olmsted Park from October 2, 2021 until October 17, 2021.

Families can interact with the storybook trail by visiting Olmsted Park at the corner of N. Nettleton Street and W. Summit Parkway in Kendall Yards in Spokane. Once at the park, children and their families will be able to read the story, Bigfoot and Lightning Bug, by following the signs as they walk along the trail. This delightful story is written by local Spokane author, Donell Barlow.
