MAKING
AN
IMPACT

The Junior League of Spokane engages in several smaller-scale impactful projects each year. These impact projects range from diaper drives to hosting dinners for homeless families. Impact projects give our members regular opportunities to connect directly with the community by providing direct support to deserving causes, while still fitting it into our busy schedules!

Creating and maintaining Reading Corners at community organizations in Spokane
Providing annual volunteer support to Tom's Turkey Drive, from helping at area grocery stores to providing day-of assistance at the pick-up event
Providing volunteer support for the Cobra Polo Classic, an annual fundraiser benefitting the Ronald McDonald House
Painting, decorating and updating rooms at Women's Hearth, an organization for women recovering from homelessness and/or drug addiction
Providing volunteers, administrative support, and day-of help for the Foster Santa Breakfast, a holiday gathering for families of foster kids

DID YOU KNOW...
JLS founded the Santa Breakfast event over 20 years ago. We nurtured it to a beloved annual holiday gathering for over 400 foster children and their families before passing it along to the caring hands of Embrace Washington.
